This month we welcome a new DIS student to TSC, who will undertake a year in industry as part of their degree studies. William is currently studying Chemical Engineering with Environmental Engineering at the University of Bath.
Industry placements offer huge advantages to students, the skills and knowledge they acquire whilst in industry can enrich their experience of education as well as giving them invaluable insight into the working environment. Students get the opportunity to work on live projects in the field of process control and plant design to get them ready for their future career in engineering.
TSC encourages any interested students currently studying Chemical Engineering or a similar degree to do an industrial placement.
