SIM 5120 LNG Production

Model Description

This model can be used for all levels of training in LNG production operations from learning the basics of CO2 removal with Amine and preparing loading arms to fill tankers through to the operation of a cryogenic heat exchanger and heat removal using both propane and multi-component compression and expansion.

This model contains a cold start, in which the model is in a shutdown state and ready for the user to attempt a full start-up. Also included is a general procedure that can be followed to take the plant from a shutdown state to fully operating and producing LNG. Each major process page contains a help file describing what is happening in the selected section.
